Q. I am 16-21 years old,

A.

for various programs that become available throughout the year. You must
meet with a Career Planner to have these determinations made.
Q. Do I need a work permit
and where do I get one?
A.
A
Work Permit is required for anyone working under the age of 18. Work permits
are obtained through the High School District in which you live. A birth

the official application, and a physical exam is also part of this process.
Once the application is fully completed, it is returned to the School
District and they will issue the Work Permit.
Q. Is this the Unemployment Office?
A.
While we are not affiliated with the unemployment
office, you may use our phones or computers to file a new or update your
existing claim.
Q. I am a mature worker looking for supplemental
employment. Is there assistance for me?
A.
Yes. Inquire at the CareerLink.
